Job Description
CNAs are to show up and arrive on time to assigned shifts. Perform duties as
accurately and efficient as possible. Be self-motivated, and have a strong
sense of self improvement.
The Residents depend on these attributes of a CNA. The teamwork environment is
essential to keep everyone, mainly the Resident, happy and the staff working
efficiently.
Responsibilities
CNAs will provide patients' personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals,
backrubs, shampoos, and shaves; assisting with travel to the bathroom; helping
with showers and baths.
CNAs will also help and encourage the progress of activities of daily living by
assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary; ambulating,
turning, and positioning patients; providing fresh water and nourishment
between meals.
Qualifications
Certified as a Nurse Assistant or currently enrolled in a nurse assistant (CNA)
class.
