BRONX - A Bronx woman is facing jail time after she was allegedly caught on video abusing an elderly patient who suffers from Alzheimer's disease.
Diana Valentin says after that after seeing bruises on her 89-year-old grandmother, she alerted the Gold Crest Care Center and setup a small camera in the room.
Valentin says the recording shows ceritified nursing aide Sandra Kerr slamming her grandmother, Anna, into the bed and against the railings.
Police have arrested Kerr, who faces up to one year in jail if she is found guilty.
The care center also fired three other employees after the incident.
