At the Work Activity Center we serve adults with developmental disabilities by helping them develop life,
social, and job skills. Employees in our residential program who work 20 or more hours per week are eligible
for tuition assistance, which offers up to $500 of tuition reimbursement per semester. Come earn a
well-deserved paycheck and join a company that does fulfilling work by helping others reach their potential.
We have a variety of shifts available and scheduling options will be discussed with each individual job
candidate during the interview process. This is a good opportunity for students who attend school during the
day and are looking for part or full-time work during the evenings or on weekends.
Residential Trainers Promote healthy lifestyles and support participant's daily activities in their homes by:
• Assisting with meal planning and preparation
• Teaching housekeeping personal resource management skills
• Engaging residents in physical and social activities in the community
• Providing direct care and assisting with personal hygiene
REQUIRMENTS
- Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds
- Able to pass a drug screening and background check
